Where it fits
The Bavarian SimTec Alpha combines a 295 mm GT-style format with silicone-rubber grips, illuminated buttons, thumb encoders and seven-way switches. The controls can be configured through the current PitStopApp software. It suits a PC rig where the steering wheel is chosen independently of the wheelbase.
What to check before you order
Confirm the 70 mm mounting pattern, adapter hardware and electrical connection as separate requirements. The manual specifies at least 50 mm of space for the rear USB cable. PC USB is supported, with an additional documented connection option through a suitable Asetek Invicta quick release; neither route establishes universal compatibility with other hardware. The pictured Mounting Plate and S100 spacer are not included as standard.
Configuration notes
The Standard version has magnetic gear-shift paddles. Advanced adds upper pull paddles and contactless magnetic clutch paddles, so select it if those extra inputs are required. Current PitStopApp operates independently of SimHub; older manual instructions should not be read as making SimHub mandatory. Check the supported functions for your intended software before assigning controls.
