RACEHUB GEARRACEHUB GEAR uses cookies and browser storage to support the store’s essential functions and remember site preferences. This page explains those uses. For information about personal data more generally, see our Privacy Policy.
What are cookies and browser storage?
A cookie is a small item of information that a website asks your browser to store and return with later requests. Browser storage, including local storage and session storage, keeps information in that browser for website functions. Storage is associated with the browser and device you use; clearing it on one device does not clear it on another.
What this store uses them for
- Cart and store session: to associate your browser with its cart, remember selected items and keep cart information consistent as you move between pages. Browser storage may also support cart updates.
- Account and login: to check whether cookies are available, maintain a signed-in session and support account security when you log in. Account functions cannot work properly without the relevant login cookies.
- Preferences: to remember available display or account preferences where a feature uses them.
- Cookie notice: the local storage entry
rhg_cookie_notice_v1remembers that you have dismissed the cookie information notice in that browser. It does not subscribe you to marketing or authorise advertising tracking.
The current store configuration does not use advertising cookies, behavioural analytics, third-party marketing trackers or order-attribution tracking. The cookie notice is informational; dismissing it is not consent to an advertising or analytics programme.
How long information remains
Some session information is cleared when the session ends or the browser removes it. Other login or preference information may remain until its expiry, you sign out where applicable, or you clear the relevant site data. The notice preference in local storage remains until it is cleared or the notice version changes. Browser settings and the particular store function affect these periods; this page does not assign one lifetime to every item.
Your browser controls
You can use your browser’s privacy or site-data controls to inspect, block or delete cookies and local storage for racehubgear.com. You can also end an account session by signing out. Blocking essential cookies or storage may prevent the cart, checkout request, login or saved preferences from working correctly. Clearing the notice entry may cause the information notice to appear again.
Browser controls do not automatically delete an enquiry, account or order request already saved in the store administration system. Contact us about those records as explained in the Privacy Policy.
Technical logs
Server logs are separate from browser cookies and may record technical request and security information. See our Privacy Policy for details about those records and your personal-information rights.
